This is a great place to stay! It reminds me of what an authentic upscale Thai Hotel should be, almost has a Japanese feel to it. I really like this place and love the location. I only had the opportunity to stay one night but I wish It was more.

Very nice hotel - almost everything perfect
From my experience, Casa De Mar welcomed me with friendly staff and spacious, well-appointed rooms. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and the hotel's aesthetic appeal added to the overall experience. I enjoyed the satisfying breakfast buffet, and the hotel's location, close to Chaweng but away from the hustle and bustle, was advantageous. Additional amenities such as scooter rental and laundry services added to the convenience, and the tranquil atmosphere ensured a relaxing stay.
Despite its many positive attributes, Casa De Mar has room for improvement. I encountered some disruptive noise in the bathrooms, and the lack of air conditioning in this area may be uncomfortable for some. Transportation arranged by the hotel was delayed, causing inconvenience. Poolside loungers were often occupied or reserved, making it challenging for other guests to use them. Furthermore, dining experiences at the restaurant were average, and despite efforts to control mosquitoes, I still encountered them in my room.
